As the week started out, everybody’s bikes were in the pit ready to go, except mine. Which was stuck in customs up until 1 hour before qualifying. As soon as the bike was built, guess what, someone took my gas can and mixed the fuel. AWESOME!!! (I was the only rider on a 4 stroke) This kept me from practice.
With that being said, I went into the qualifiers under practiced and stressed out. I did my best with the situation I was dealing with.
I ended up missing the head to head match ups by one spot. Landing myself in 9th place overall. It was once in a lifetime to ride in front of the pyramids and Sphinx, which I was glad to be a part of. All and all I am going home with knowledge and experience for my next competition, cause I am just getting started!
